The C-Channel Parallel Flange Channel (PFC) steel post is the standard residential specification for concrete sleeper retaining walls under 1.0m in stable, well-drained ground conditions. Lighter and more economical than H-Beam posts, C-Channel is the correct choice for low garden walls, boundary walls, and landscaping retaining walls where lateral earth pressure is low and drainage is good.

All C-Channel posts are hot-dip galvanised to AS/NZS 4680 for maximum corrosion resistance in Australian soil conditions, and manufactured to AS 4678-2002 Earth Retaining Structures. Delivered direct to your site, Australia-wide.

When C-Channel Is the Right Choice

Wall under 1.0m in height
Stable, well-drained sandy or loam soils
No surcharge load above the wall (no driveway, vehicle, or structure)
NOT on reactive clay — Western Sydney, Melbourne east, Brisbane west, Adelaide plains, Perth east all require H-Beam posts
Project does not require DA or engineer certification
