150 Series Galvanised Steel Posts — Heavy Duty for Walls 1.0m–1.8m
The 150 Series is our heavy duty steel post range, engineered for concrete sleeper retaining walls between 1.0m and 1.8m in height, reactive clay soils, elevated surcharge loads, and sites where additional structural capacity is required. The larger section size provides significantly greater bending strength and stiffness compared to the 100 Series.
When to Use 150 Series Posts
- Walls between 1.0m and 1.8m in height
- Reactive clay soils that expand and contract seasonally (common across Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth eastern suburbs)
- Sites with elevated surcharge loads — driveways, vehicles, structures, or slopes
- Where engineer certification is required or recommended
- Coastal and high-moisture environments requiring additional corrosion resistance
