No. The charcoal pigment is integral to the concrete mix — it is not a surface coating or paint. UV exposure, rain, and general weathering do not affect the colour. What is the difference between charcoal 75mm and 100mm sleepers?

The 100mm heavy duty sleeper is specified for walls 1.0m–1.2m, reactive clay sites (Melbourne inner/middle ring, Brisbane outer west), or any wall where a structural engineer has specified a heavier section.
