Matching Corner and Joiner Posts to Your Post Series

Corner and joiner posts need to match the series used along the rest of the wall, in the same way sleeper thickness needs to match post series.

This is easy to overlook precisely because corner and joiner posts are ordered less frequently than standard mid-run posts, so it's tempting to treat them as a generic accessory rather than a series specific product. In reality they carry exactly the same series specific channel dimensions as standard posts, and the matching rule that applies everywhere else in the wall system applies just as strictly here.

  • A wall built with 100 Series steel posts needs 100 Series corner and joiner posts
  • A wall built with 150 Series posts needs 150 Series corner and joiner posts
  • Where a wall transitions between series along its length, the joiner post at that transition point needs to correctly interface with both series either side of it

It's also worth confirming profile compatibility, H-beam or C-channel, at corners and joiners, since a mismatch here creates the same seating problems it does at a standard mid-run post.
